Amayno

AMAYNO, from “Aman” (water) and “Ino” (my water), is an educational game inspired by the ancestral concept of Tirḥal, the vital journey in search of water and security that has shaped Moroccan history. Led by our main character, inspired by El Majdoub – a symbol of wisdom and wandering (“ḥikma”) – the player travels across Morocco city by city to discover the history, culture, way of life, and symbols unique to each region. At each stage, they gather knowledge to build a historical database (“moujalad”), a true guide for future generations. The game adopts a 100% Moroccan style, blending “zajal maghribi” (traditional Moroccan storytelling) and the art of “ḥakawaty” (the Moroccan style of poetry and storytelling), with immersive videos that make learning lively and engaging. The levels function as playful assessments: to obtain the “passport” for each city, the player must demonstrate what they have learned. AMAYNO is the alliance of entertainment and knowledge to reconnect young people to the soul of Morocco.
